The Legacy: Motown Review
The Legacy features four talented entertainers who dance, sing and transport the audience back to the days of The Drifters, The Coasters, The Jacksons, Earth Wind& Fire and the Temptations. Directed by band leader, Stan Tigall who served as music director and pianist for Bill Pinckney's original Drifters, The Legacy entertains audiences with the classic Motown sound from Detroit, exciting choreography and impressive showmanship.
When backed by the 6 to 8 talented musicians and singers in Sound Express, the group can perform one of five different shows depending upon the interests of your audience:

Sound Express is a high energy, Top 40, variety show band, spotlighting The Expressions, a front line including male and female vocalists with choreographed dance routines. Featuring saxophone, trumpet, multi-keyboards, guitar and drums, Sound Express is dedicated to providing professional entertainment, demonstrating the highest quality of musicianship and delivering memorable occasions for all audiences. Thank you for suggesting "The Legacy" to be part of the musical entertainment for Kernersville's July 4th concert. We had a crowd of well over 5,000 people that enjoyed their music very much. Not only did they perform exceptionally well musically, but they also represented themselves well as clean-cut young men. They put on a show that is appropriate and exciting for a family audience.
